Fidelis Care Announces 2010 Medicare Benefits

Fidelis Care will offer six Medicare plans in 2010, each with a variety of benefits, and each designed to provide seniors with quality, affordable coverage. A preview of each plan’s benefits is highlighted below.

In 2010, Fidelis Medicare Advantage Flex offers $0 co-pays for PCP and specialist visits, outpatient surgery, X-rays, MRIs, and preventive services. In addition to offering a flex benefit of up to $550 annually, through which members can obtain non-Medicare covered services, the plan offers a low generic prescription drug co-pay of $6. There is a $33.30 monthly premium.

The Fidelis Medicare Advantage plan offers $3 co-pays for PCP and specialist visits and a low $4 generic prescription drug co-pay through the coverage gap. There is a $0 monthly premium.

Those looking to receive extra money in their Social Security check may opt for the Fidelis Medicare Advantage Part B Reduction plan. In addition to offering a $5 co-pay for generic prescription drugs, the plan has a $0 monthly premium. In 2010, those enrolled in the Fidelis Medicare Advantage Part B Reduction plan receive a $40 reduction in their Part B premium. This is an increase from the 2009 reduction.

The Fidelis Medicare Advantage without Rx is a plan for those with alternative prescription drug coverage who seek hospital and medical coverage. In 2010, this plan features a $0 monthly premium.

Fidelis Care also offers Fidelis Dual Advantage and Fidelis Dual Advantage Flex plans that feature $0 co-pays for PCP and specialist visits, and a $3.30 brand name prescription drug co-pay.
