Recent Accomplishments
- Experienced record membership growth in the Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care lines of business, becoming the largest government programs-based health plan in New York State.
- With new legislation authorizing employers and Taft-Hartley Funds to offer Family Health Plus benefits, Fidelis Care was the first health plan selected to provide coverage for eligible members of 1199SEIU (the Benefit Fund).
- Opened new satellite offices in Suffern and in Rochester.
- Noted strong membership growth in Fidelis Care at Home, a managed long-term care program serving residents of Orange and Rockland counties.
- Launched Fidelis Medicaid Advantage Plus, a managed long-term care program for individuals 18 years of age or older with Medicare and Medicaid coverage, in the five boroughs of New York City and four upstate counties.
- Became operational in 53 of the State's 62 counties.
- Achieved strong scores in the most recent Provider Satisfaction Survey, conducted by an independent survey organization.
- Earned top consumer satisfaction ratings in the State Department of Health's Managed Care Regional Consumer Guides for service performance in the Child Health Plus program.
- Secured top honors in New York City, tying as the highest-ranked Medicare Advantage plan in member quality.
- Continuously awarded the annual Quality Incentive Award from the New York State Department of Health
- Launched a comprehensive new corporate advertising campaign
- Provided charitable funding through the Community Grant Fund
- Supported families in need with gift certificates for holiday turkeys and participation in Coats for Kids campaigns.
- Advanced the mission of caring and service on behalf of our members and the 2.1 million uninsured children and adults in New York State whom we have yet to reach
